How Many Should I Order?

The Sureguard Scarecrow covers quite a wide area so, depending on your situation, you may only need one device.

If pests can enter via several areas then install Sureguard Scarecrows in each location.

If protecting a swimming pool you should install one or more Sureguard Scarecrow at either end to fully cover your pool.

We purchased the scarecrow to keep cockatoos off our new planted garden beds. I would plant out a new area of garden - the cockatoos would notice and pull plants out, bite off flower heads etc. It was heartbreaking. We have installed scarecrow and it works brilliantly.

BRILLIANT solution to deter pests

I bought the Sureguard Scarecrow motion activated spray repellent to deter a Bush Turkey ripping up the pot plants on my balcony. After only a few days I am thrilled by the results. The features have been well thought through and I'm impressed by the design and function. My only critique is the Up/Down Distance adjustment of the sprinkler outlet -- it would be perfect for long, flat distances, but is difficult to angle appropriately for undulating terrain and smaller spaces. This is because the sensor (when staked correctly) is parallel to the ground, but the angle of the sprinkler is elevated significantly (to reach a long distance)... When the sensor is at the correct angle to be able to see the top of a turkey's mound, the sprinkler will aim far above the turkey's head. One is then totally reliant upon the pest being startled, rather than sprayed.

I’ve got the nicest lawn on the street-kangaroos and wallabies will destroy this lawn if I do not have some form of deterrent.

I live in Bushland and have lots of Roos and wallabies around; so to save my pristine lawn, having the Sureguard Scarecrow is simply a ‘set and forget’ way of keeping them on other people’s lawns. I now have two, and they are daisy chained together to make the perimeter compete-I had only one for about a year now, and it is the growing season-so my lawn is nearly perfect; so I want to keep it that way. Even when we go away, it’s always on-just make sure you have a name brand hose and fittings-or it can blow off the end and leave you with a silly water bill. Highly recommend!!!

Keeps roaming cats away

This product is great to keep away roaming cats who were spraying our front door and fighting with our cat through the window at night. A previous version stopped working but support were great, and it was returned under warranty at Bunnings- I was very happy to use the same product again. Plus the kids love it in summer!
