If pests can enter via several areas then install Sureguard Scarecrows in each location.
If protecting a swimming pool you should install one or more Sureguard Scarecrow at either end to fully cover your pool.
- Sensor Left-Right Angular Range: 110 degrees.
- Sensor Range: Variable depending on the animal size and device set up. Large animals up to 9m, smaller up to 4m to 6m.
- Sprinkler Distance: Up to 10m (depends on water pressure).
- Water Usage: 2-3 cups per Activation.
- Water Pressure: Maximum 80psi or 0.6MPa. Minimum 30psi or 0.2MPa.
- Batteries: Two AA Alkaline for up to 12 months running time. (Batteries not included).
- Includes a built-in low battery indicator.

Just magic. Easy setup and not a possum in sight since. Shall move it to the front garden for a night or two to scare of a marauding cat.

We purchased the scarecrow to keep cockatoos off our new planted garden beds. I would plant out a new area of garden - the cockatoos would notice and pull plants out, bite off flower heads etc. It was heartbreaking. We have installed scarecrow and it works brilliantly.

This product is amazing!! Before purchasing the scarecrow we tried everything; fake snakes, owls chopped chili and sprinkled it on the pavement but nothing stopped the birds until we installed the product - we are so excited, no more ducks and no more droppings!!! Absolutely brilliant!I bought this product because it was a well-priced product that was safe to use around pets and children. Robert Hainsworth3+ years agoSaw article recommending the deviceBought it to deter a brush turkey building a nest heap. It did make the turkey run away when it went off, but did not stop the turkey returning to try again. Possibly because it was bought after the turkey had been working on the nest for a week. Eventually had the turkey removed. Retained device so as to deploy immediately next time

Joe Malik3+ years agoCat detterentTrying this to scare off a neighborhood cat that comes and mark his territory around our house for days at a time, and riles up our indoor cats who eventually stress spray everywhere. The product seems well built and testing seems solid so far though motion detection can be inconsistent at times. I have a camera hooked up to catch the action and have high hopes of this getting the pest cat

Catherine Rush3+ years agoReally frightens off unwanted pests in the gardenWe bought this to scare off bush turkeys who are ruining our garden beds and grass, it has also given the added advantage of keeping possums at bay. Seems to have been working but have only had it setup for around 10 days and the bush turkeys aren't there every day. Thinking of getting another so that we can cover the whole garden.
Chris Parritt3+ years agoIt just worksHave had it for 5 days. Was bought to repel ducks from around our pool area. It works fantastic. Was hosing duck poo off every day. Since installing it I haven’t found any duck calling cards on my pavers. Highly recommend this product.

Stuart Blacket3+ years agoTo deter ducks from poolI have it set up on the edge of my large swimming pool and when it is switched on it’s keeps ducks away and when it is off , the ducks reappear. So I do know that it is working very well.

Jessica Hill3+ years agoEasy To Assemblerue lifesaver! We rent and needed to keep our large-breed dog from jumping at the fence. Nothing we tried worked. This product however was perfect. He doesn’t like water and the water repeller startled him without causing any harm. He has stayed away from the fence since and is still able to enjoy the backyard. Easy to assemble, works as described and unlike solar powered options, this one can be used anywhere in the yard, regardless of sun exposure.
