The Sureguard Scarecrow covers quite a wide area so, depending on your situation, you may only need one device. Download the Owner's Guide for details.
If pests can enter via several areas then install Sureguard Scarecrows in each location.
If protecting a swimming pool you should install one or more Sureguard Scarecrow at either end to fully cover your pool.
- Sensor Left-Right Angular Range: 110 degrees.
- Sensor Range: Variable depending on the animal size and device set up. Large animals up to 9m, smaller up to 4m to 6m.
- Sprinkler Distance: Up to 10m (depends on water pressure).
- Water Usage: 2-3 cups per Activation.
- Water Pressure: Maximum 80psi or 0.6MPa. Minimum 30psi or 0.2MPa.
- Batteries: Two AA Alkaline for up to 12 months running time. (Batteries not included).
- Includes a built-in low battery indicator.

Just magic. Easy setup and not a possum in sight since. Shall move it to the front garden for a night or two to scare of a marauding cat.

We purchased the scarecrow to keep cockatoos off our new planted garden beds. I would plant out a new area of garden - the cockatoos would notice and pull plants out, bite off flower heads etc. It was heartbreaking. We have installed scarecrow and it works brilliantly.

This product is amazing!! Before purchasing the scarecrow we tried everything; fake snakes, owls chopped chili and sprinkled it on the pavement but nothing stopped the birds until we installed the product - we are so excited, no more ducks and no more droppings!!! It works fantastic. Was hosing duck poo off every day. Since installing it I haven’t found any duck calling cards on my pavers. Highly recommend this product.

Stuart Blacket6 months agoTo deter ducks from poolI have it set up on the edge of my large swimming pool and when it is switched on it’s keeps ducks away and when it is off , the ducks reappear. So I do know that it is working very well.

Jessica Hill6 months agoEasy To Assemblerue lifesaver! We rent and needed to keep our large-breed dog from jumping at the fence. Nothing we tried worked. This product however was perfect. He doesn’t like water and the water repeller startled him without causing any harm. He has stayed away from the fence since and is still able to enjoy the backyard. Easy to assemble, works as described and unlike solar powered options, this one can be used anywhere in the yard, regardless of sun exposure.

Nicole Donnelly6 months agoWorked instantly with cat detectionPurchased to deter strays cats from coming into our front yard and going under our gate to the backyard, marking their territory over everything including our cars, and also upsetting our indoor cat. Worked as described. Deterred the stray cats from the front yard after only a couple of nights. Now just need another one for the back yard as they have changed their entry point. Side note: the security camera recording the action has given us many laughs.

Benjamin Fitzpatrick6 months agoWater your garden, terrify feral catsThis is our third scarecrow as the cats keep finding new entrances to our large yard. A tip for those using tank water with a pressure pump: when assembling your scarecrow, use titaseal teflon tape on all the threaded parts ( as well as all the threaded hose components) if you’re daisy chaining this will keep water pressure sealed so your pump will only activate when it sprays. Still the most entertaining way to keep cats away. The security camera footage has been a delight after years of putting up with cats ( and their irresponsible owners ) stinking up our lawn
