The Sureguard Scarecrow covers quite a wide area so, depending on your situation, you may only need one device.
If pests can enter via several areas then install Sureguard Scarecrows in each location.
If protecting a swimming pool you should install one or more Sureguard Scarecrow at either end to fully cover your pool.

Just magic. Easy setup and not a possum in sight since. Shall move it to the front garden for a night or two to scare of a marauding cat.

We purchased the scarecrow to keep cockatoos off our new planted garden beds. I would plant out a new area of garden - the cockatoos would notice and pull plants out, bite off flower heads etc. It was heartbreaking. We have installed scarecrow and it works brilliantly.

This product is amazing!! Before purchasing the scarecrow we tried everything; fake snakes, owls chopped chili and sprinkled it on the pavement but nothing stopped the birds until we installed the product - we are so excited, no more ducks and no more droppings!!! D W3+ years agoWorks for ducks in the pool, but...Pros Works well to scare ducks. Read the instructions. Try to avoid old hose/fittings to minimize leaks. Cons Can be a bit fussy if the sensor is aiming a little too high or low. The hose attachment fitting location limits the depth the spike can go in and if staked in a pot will point the sensor downwards. The when activated the sprinkler 'kicks' so the spike can wobble itself lose in a pot- would love to see a base plate the can be screwed into a solid bit of timber or even the deck to keep it solid.

Krystyna Hanlon3+ years agoIt works well to scare away those pesky neighborhood cats that roam at night.Pro's: Value for money. Good strong spray. It works! Con's: Bit fiddly to set up, especially sensitivity settings. Sprinkler still set off on windy nights with branch movements, and even if set to night time only, the sprinkler can go off at 8am on overcast days. Best to turn it off at the tap and sensor if you don't want it to work during the day. Shame that the QR code for video demo of setup (on the back of the user instruction leaflet) led to the site with the message "we are working hard to bring you our new video channels soon". It's a shame, because it might have made set-up easier.

Mark Johns3+ years agoDoes exactly what it saysWish I’d bought one of these years ago to stop Possums destroying our large Magnolia tree. Was easy to set up and is doing a great job of stopping the bastard Possums from eating all the flower buds. Have tried all sorts of pest control solutions over many years and this is the only one that is doing the job effectively.
