The Sureguard Scarecrow covers quite a wide area so, depending on your situation, you may only need one device.
If pests can enter via several areas then install Sureguard Scarecrows in each location.
If protecting a swimming pool you should install one or more Sureguard Scarecrow at either end to fully cover your pool.

Just magic. Easy setup and not a possum in sight since. Shall move it to the front garden for a night or two to scare of a marauding cat.

We purchased the scarecrow to keep cockatoos off our new planted garden beds. I would plant out a new area of garden - the cockatoos would notice and pull plants out, bite off flower heads etc. It was heartbreaking. We have installed scarecrow and it works brilliantly.

This product is amazing!! Before purchasing the scarecrow we tried everything; fake snakes, owls chopped chili and sprinkled it on the pavement but nothing stopped the birds until we installed the product - we are so excited, no more ducks and no more droppings!!! So far so good, haven't seen one coming back after a few days use, motion sensor picks up almost immediately when cat is passing by, startled them, and they run away. Night and 24h mode is also useful so that I dont get sprinkled with water during the day when I'm at the backyard.
Vince Pittorino3+ years agoProduct delivered the action advertised required to resolve my issueI highly recommend this product . Its function at night has stopped cats , possums from using my front lawn as a toilet . I have a motion detection camera which has recorded videos of these animals running frightened at sprinkler activation . Within 2 days of use they have NOT RETURNED since . been 5 weeks now . Will purchase another for back yard as well . I have purchased many other products prior , all have failed . This product has been the silver bullet !

Jane Gillings3+ years agoSo far it actually seems to workI have tried everything to keep cockies off my passion fruit vine! Fake snakes, fake dead cockies, wrapping the individual fruit in plastic containers then copper mesh pouches, netting. Everything! Only to have them come back and decimate the vine. Finding giant green passion fruit in the garden with one bite taken out of it…they even snip branches laden with fruit and flowers with their beaks just for fun. This sprinkler was my last ditch effort. The one cocky that dared to eat my decoy fruit got the shock of its life when the sprinkler went off! I love the sensitivity setting too. Easy to adjust when I need to. I thought it might leak too, but so far so good.

David Morris3+ years agoEasy to set upAnnoying that batteries are not included, it would be helpful if that was stated on the outside of the box. Simple to set up, I have bought 1 to try to break the habits of wild ducks fouling my pool area, last resort before a 12 bore shotgun!! ( JOKE😅) . Really need 3 to cover the whole area, but my bought the last one at my local Bunnings . So far this afternoon, in the 3 hours since installed it has prevented 4 attempts by ducks to land on the water. So far so good.
Ian Cox3+ years agoTakes the effort away from keeping birds at bayIt was quite exciting to see the first time a group of Ibis managed to trigger the device. Since then the number visiting has declined but they have not completely disappeared. The main advantage is that I can set the device on a timer and have a helper on the task. Since the area to be covered is larger than the sensor range it would be necessary to get another, or two more, to cover the area completely, however I don't want to go to that trouble and expense right now. The only issues have been the hose coming undone at the click on connector, for which I've switched to poly irrigation hose with screw up clamp connectors, and also I do notice that occasionally plants moving in strong wind does trigger the sensor, since it needs to be on the most sensitive motion detection setting. All up I'm happy with my purchase
