AlpacaUse multiple wires to build a physical fence. Electric fence charge will not pass through more than 2~5mm of coat. Electrifying the top wire at nose height might be useful to keep pressure off fence. If keeping predators out then design the fence for the predator.

Use a multi-wire fence for permanent installations. Space wires 20~30 cm to a maximum 1.2~1.5m. All wires can be electrified. Use alternating earth return wires on the fence if soil lacks moisture.
