Technology

Sureguard's energizers conform to our exacting specifications. We manufacture our own high-voltage transformers. This is the most important component of an electric fence energizer. This is a top quality component, vacuum impregnated and sealed in epoxy resin. Inferior wax dipped designs are found in cheaper products. Epoxy resins don't deteriorate like wax does in the hot Australian climate.

The electronic circuitry is also enclosed in resin, for trouble free operation in all weather conditions. Inferior designs use a less expensive conformal coating. We use resin, which gives the circuitry superior moisture resistance.

Sureguard Solar Electric Fence - Model S10

This model energizes up to 10km of wire and is ideal for replacing most small mains operated energizers. The stronger output of this model is well suited to controlling larger or stubborn animals and for vermin control, including unwanted dogs when used with a multi-wire design.

The all in one design is far less susceptible to physical damage to wires and components. This design also includes a steel mounting post which assists with correct solar orientation.

On the end of the energizer you'll see two strong terminal posts that connect to your earth and live fence wire. Internal battery compartment provides portable power from two dry cell batteries or rechargeable batteries.
