Your solar energizer comes complete with rechargeable backup batteries. These batteries are an industrial grade high temperature battery particularly suited to solar applications. After 2~3 years of operation the batteries will need replacing. Do not substitute other types of battery as these may affect the operation of your solar energizer.

Lead-Out Cable
This flexible silicone cable is much easier to use than ordinary (thick & stiff) underground electric fence cable. Rated to 10,000 volts, it will not breakdown like ordinary insulated wire. Even using thick building wire can cause intermittent fence problems.
Use this special silicone cable to carry the electrical charge from the energizer to the earth stake & fence wire. Use to make bridging connections from one fence to another.
